Intridea Incubated Divshot joins Launchpad LA Accelerator

Today, we're excited to announce that Divshot, a product incubated with Intridea's support, has joined the Fall 2012 class of Launchpad LA.

The idea behind Divshot is to simplify the redundant process of wireframing, designing and coding websites. With elegant drag and drop functionality, Divshot enables developers and designers to quickly create web interfaces. Unlike other drag-and-drop web builders, however, Divshot is created for professionals and exports clean HTML and CSS that is on-par with hand-coding.

Take a quick look at how Divshot works in this short video:

Divshot was originally created at Startup Weekend Kansas City in April by our own Michael Bleigh. It quickly gained interest after winning Crowdstart LA, a pitch competition put on by

Shortly after the competition, Divshot was offered a place in Launchpad's next class. Michael has moved out to LA to spearhead Divshot's development while still continuing to play an integral role in Intridea's open source and R&D efforts. In Michael's own words:

Divshot is the solution to a number of problems that I’ve run into time and time again. It’s a tool that will help any developer or designer speed through some of the more repetitive tasks that come up when building interfaces for web apps. With the support of Intridea and Launchpad I have the opportunity to take the idea to the next level. I couldn’t be more excited.
~ Michael Bleigh, Fellow
